Hey guys !

I haven't made a blog post in a while !

I wanted to thank everyone for the many comments, likes and downloads, it's honestly an amazing feeling seeing your creation(s) being appreciated by people worldwide on the internet, it's a wonderful thing.

As for my latest project "4/4 In Paradise", I don't know if I struck algorithmic gold, but the song "Sure&Pure" is kind of popping off, and despite almost being left off the project, my friend suggested me to keep it at the last minute, and here we are now =]

It's a new sound inspired by reggae, soul, calypso and downtempo/trip-hop, and in retrospect it really does work well.

Now let's talk about future projects :

"Reverb" is yet to have a release date, as there's still a missing track (I keep thinking the placeholder track is final) and we're a bit in a dry spell in terms of inspiration right now...x[

But the general theme remains the same : nostalgia, uncertain futures, lost in music, vast nothingness etc.

"Reverb" is a general mish-mash of genres, I can't really describe it, I'd say it's closer to Pink Floyd's "The Wall" than anything we've ever made.

The last release seems to have been well received and it's been almost two years, so I think it's grand time to come out with a project again !

The tracks are usually exercices when I come up with melodies or interesting chord progressions, so I feel like compiling them against like last time (if you've missed it, it's exclusively on sale only on bandcamp right here).

I took a lot of creative liberties for this one, including mixing & mastering.

This is for the old-school computer music lovers, I'm taking you on a trip back to the early 90s !

AMA + Roadmap post

As you've seen, Azimuth is already out, that leaves us with three projects left to work with.

Hardest task so far has been "Reverb", the scope is gigantic. It's as if all my previous projects got merged into one, the sound design, the songwriting, it's quite overwhelming which is why I haven't set a release date yet, could be by the end of the year, could be next year, who knows ? Just know that the songs are fleshed out and the vibe is just like the cover : gloomy, emotional, bittersweet and made up of pent-up rage. The budget has also been big.

What's up ?

I've been quite busy with work lately, but it didn't stop me from writing song ideas and getting to flesh them out at home.

"Fastlife" is dropping at the end of the month, a breakbeat and house-heavy album, with a throwback to early 90s Rave.

It actually follows a storyline, I'll let you imagine the whole scenario !

After a good rest I've decided to return a month early.

To my surprise my song "KINEMATICS" has hit 15k streams on Spotify, putting me at 3.8k monthly listeners. I have no idea why nor how, but I'm super happy !

I'll be releasing "FASTLIFE" on March 30th 2023, it's gonna sound how the album cover looks, fast paced, aggressive and earth shattering. The album is 99% complete and let me tell you, it will make your speakers explode, an ambitious combination of multiple genres across electronic music history.

For now, I've released "Clutch Release", a single off the album to give you a sample of how it sounds =]

Hey Newgrounds,

It's been a long, eventful and emotional year. Now that we're nearing the end of it, I'd like to announce I'll be going on a two month break until the 1st of February.

However, this doesn't mean I'll log off from every platform, I'll still be available for contacting purposes =]

In retrospect, I'm pretty proud of myself for releasing 5 projects (4 albums and an EP), also happy with how I was able to translate ideas into music form.

I'm grateful for the free lessons on the internet, for teaching me sound design, music theory and breaking the mold to think outside the box.

Picking up the guitar has also been extremely useful, it's such a unique instrument capable of being used in many genres and fields of work, its versatility is my favorite thing about it, which is why you most likely heard my playing on many tracks (I'm still new to it y'all).

Now for 2023, let's say I have the roadmap mostly complete and the ideas are roughly fleshed out :

• A feel-good easy listening album : a soundtrack for a cheesy sitcom (like Legacy 1 & 2)
• A classic house album, 80s-90s style, lots of samples and vocals
• A 5x piano ballad EP
