you nailed it. Here’s a small tip for the FM bass: layer it with a Moog (or anything similar) using a fast attack, fast decay, and no sustain for a punchier sound while keeping the DX7’s harshness. This is pretty damn good, though x]

To be honest I've never really thought about it, but now that you mention it it's actually a good idea!
I just don't think my skills are good enough for something like that yet, but I think it's something I might try in the future :)
