ItsBurner
Hello !
I like to compose, produce and arrange short soundtracks destined for video games. I plan on uploading more of my work here, as I've previously used Bandcamp for my big releases.
I love the sound of the 80s & 90s !

The End

Posted by ItsBurner - April 26th, 2022

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the end of Burner.

I decided that it wasn't worth the effort and time to keep working on a fruitless tree, so I will be ceasing all production and work.

Music writing and producing has taken its toll on my mental and physical state. I can't pull all nighters like I used to and my ears started ringing. And that is not to say how demotivated I am due to the lack of ventures, the "starving artist" curse has really gone too far and if I keep it that way I might end up on the streets...

I'm leaving all released songs on their respective platforms and I'll make sure they won't get removed. I've also just released my final two projects on Bandcamp, entirely for free. Let me know what you think.

Newgrounds will always be special due to the way it promotes new artists and musicians, it is definitely the place where I've received the most feedback, and I wish I could say the same for other platforms. I will never forget the amazing messages and comments, they were really touching, as it felt like I was contributing to something for once.

If you need to use ANY song for a project just DM me =)

Thank you so much for your support, I wouldn't have evolved as a person without you ! Love y'all !

Truly yours, Burner.

Man, I'm gonna miss you and your work. You're a one of a kind composer that just gets the old-school vibe right and up-beat. On The Road was the reason I even starting following you and it's still my favorite, but you still kept making hit after hit. I respect your decision and hope you have a healthy life ahead of you. Get the self care you need, health is always first for hard-working artists like us. Thank you for everything you had to share with the world, I'll have a fun time listening to all of your music on here and bandcamp.
(and maybe hopefully on Spotify too.)

Thank you very much for the kind words, I can't get the point across through pixels on a computer, but it really hits me. It was a tough decision.

@Burner98 You're Welcome!

Sry man, just sry... idk what else to say, but its a shame

I think lately more and more people have been coming to terms with the fact that there's nothing glamorous about the "starving artist" lifestyle. You don't have to torture yourself to be a good or honest artist, and we should all be doing things that are more sustainable. Best of luck man
